TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Booking and Delivery of pet to Home from Home Kennels (herein known as HFHK) Pet Boarding facilities constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions advertised. These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between the parties. All terms and conditions shall be binding on the heirs, administrators, personal representatives and assignees of the Owner and HFHK.

-The Pet Owner shall hold harmless HFHK and or its staff, volunteers and assignees for any loss, damages or thefts. HFHK will make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety, comfort and good health of the Owner’s animal(s).

-The Pet Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date pet is checked into Pet Boarding.

-The Pet Owner shall undertake to ensure that all animals entering the care of HFHK are fully insured and or further agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and any emergency veterinary costs for their pet during the time said pet is in the care of HFHK Pet Boarding.

If your pet becomes ill or if the state of the animal’s health requires professional attention, HFHK in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian, administer medicine, and or give other requisite attention to the animal, and the expenses thereof shall be paid by the owner. HFHK staff will make a reasonable attempt to contact Owner prior to engaging such services when possible.

- The Pet Owner agrees to give permission to HFHK to allow personal information regarding Owner and Pet to be given to or received from a duly licensed veterinarian.

-The Pet Owner guarantees that the pet has up to date vaccinations covering the entire planned stay at HFHK and the vaccinations were administered to the pet a minimum of 14 days prior to arriving at the boarding facilities. You must provide proof that your pet’s vaccinations are up to date. We will only accept vaccination certificates NOT vet records. No animal will be accepted unless these vaccinations are up to date.

- Payment for the full boarding term is required on the day of drop home of your pet, if not before, unless otherwise agreed with HFHK.

-The Pet Owner agrees that the pet shall not leave the care of HFHK until all charges are paid.

-All boarding rates are charged on a calendar day basis and the full period booked will be charged unless by prior agreement with HFHK.

- HFHK is not responsible for any loss, damage to any items brought in by Owner for pet during it’s time of boarding and is not responsible for any items left behind after the pet has been collected/dropped home.

-Our opening hours are Mon-Friday, 7am - 5pm. All dogs should be picked up by us or dropped to us between these times. Any out of hour’s actions are at the discretion of HFHK and may be charged for.

-We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any pet we feel may be disruptive to our other guests. These may include, but are not limited to, females in their heat cycle, aggressive and or unsocialised dogs. Dogs showing aggression toward the staff may also be refused. We attempt to reduce the stresses on our guests and to do so, at times we do have to refuse certain pets.

-We cannot board sick or injured animals. If your pet is coughing, sneezing or is exhibiting other signs of possible illness (ex. heavy discharge from eyes, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea, breathing difficulties etc.) or has open wounds we cannot not board your pet.

There is no additional fee for administering regular medications. All medication needs to be in a clearly marked container (preferably the original container) with the following information: Pet's Name, Name of Medication and Strength, Dosage per day or as needed (let us know at check-in what doses your pet needs that day).

- There will be no discount if the pet’s food is supplied, the full charge per day still applies.

-If your animal is not picked up within 10 days of the prearranged last boarding date and no contact has been made by the owner to HFHK to notify us of the delay and new collection date agreed between both parties, we shall assume the animal has been abandoned. HFHK has the legal right at that time to give over ownership to the local dog warden.

HFHK will make every effort to contact the Owner prior to re-homing. In addition, HFHK has the right to charge Owner for each day the pet is left over agreed upon length of stay

By acknowledging they have read and understand these Terms & Conditions as part of the Booking Form and/or leaving his/her pet with HFHK, The Pet Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given about said pet and agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
